On Team 2207, "Bright Bears", we strive to create an engaging environment for students to collaborate with knowledgeable mentors of all backgrounds to build science, engineering, and technology skills that inspire innovation. With this program, we hope to provide an avenue for students to gain exposure to industry-standard machines, methods, and equipment, as well as critical thinking, problem solving, and team building skills. FIRST POWER UP was a retro 8-bit themed game that required teams to place milk crates, or "power cubes", on large balancing scales to tip the scale and gain ownership.
DESTINATION: DEEP SPACE was a game centered around an outer space theme with teams competing to place hatch panels and "cargo" on rockets and cargo ships.
RAPID REACT revolved around both alliances shooting inflatable balls into a central hub and climbing within their hangars at the end of the match.
CHARGED UP was part of the FIRST-wide FIRST Energize theme for the 2022-2023 season, which focused on energy and sustainable development.
